Hungarian National EU2020 Strategies Are Now Available

At the end of last year (2015), our Institute has published the volume National Strategies. The book includes 3 documents: the Strategy for the Development of Public Education, the Mid-term Strategy against Early School Leaving and the Framework Strategy for the Policy of Lifelong Learning for 2014-2020.

HIERD Hosts CIDREE Conference

On 5th November 2015, CIDREE (the Consortium of Institutions for Development and Research in Education in Europe) held its annual conference in Budapest, hosted by HIERD, its Hungarian member organisation. The CIDREE yearbook 2015, Improving Literacy Skills across Learning, edited by HIERD, was launched at the conference.

Highlighted project SROP 3.1.15 – Supporting Horizontal Knowledge Sharing is coming to its termination date, closing on the 31st October 2015. The final conference was organised on 20th October 2015, in Budapest.

International Afternoon Tea, 29th September 2015

Deputy Director General Dr Zoltán Pompor participated at the UNESCO national committees’ meeting in Warsaw, on 12th September 2015, together with Zita Gergely and MP Lajos Kethy. Besides reports from this meeting, our colleagues from the Swiss project, Réka Könczey, Éva Neumayer and Ágnes Halácsy presented about their study visit to Switzerland.
